The Navy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the details of the destruction of the enemy boat Ivanovets

Dmytro Pletenchuk noted that the tactic of a group attack by drones on an enemy ship in the open sea was used.

Operations to destroy Russian ships are unique, because they are developed taking into account the experience of the enemy. In particular, this concerns the attack on the missile boat Ivanovets (Ivanovets) of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. This was stated by the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk.

According to him, the successful conduct of such an operation testifies to the mastery of both planning and the use of weapons, since the Russians "had a set of measures, they prepared in advance to repel such attacks."

He noted that technologically speaking, the Ivanovets boat was not a completely new vessel "for its age", but the Russians could still use it for a long time.

Pletenchuk added that the tactic of a group attack of unmanned systems on an enemy ship in the open sea was used and, most likely, it is not the only example in the world, but in another sense, "Ukraine has actually become such a driver of their use in the conditions of real combat operations."

The spokesman noted that the Russians had already reacted to the destruction of yet another ship and reminded that since the beginning of the new year, an unusually large number of Russian ships had been observed in the Black Sea – from 5 to 10 units, and now there are only three of them, and "there are no missile carriers in the sea." .

"Apparently, this is exactly how the enemy is trying to analyze the situation and draw appropriate conclusions," Pletenchuk suggested.

He added that the operation to destroy the missile boat once again confirmed the fact that the Russian fleet cannot feel safe near the shores of the temporarily occupied Crimea in the Black Sea.

As you know, on the night of February 1, the Russian missile boat Ivanovets was destroyed. Judging by the released video, it suffered a series of hits from naval drones and sank.
