Fireworks in honor of Victory Day were canceled in Crimea and Sevastopol

In Crimea and Sevastopol, holiday fireworks in honor of Victory Day were canceled due to the yellow level of terrorist danger. This was announced by the head of the peninsula, Serhii Aksyonov, on his Telegram channel .

According to him, there is a high level of terrorist danger in some municipal entities and facilities in Crimea. For this reason, the May 9 salute with the participation of the Armed Forces was canceled, the Crimean head added. Aksyonov also urged to treat this with understanding.

At 22:00 local time, fireworks will be held to mark the 79th anniversary of Victory in the hero cities of Moscow, Volgograd, Kerch, Murmansk, Novorossiysk, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Smolensk, and Tula.
