The ongoing conflict has caused an epidemic of suffering and psychological trauma among both military personnel and civilians. Recent data from the health ministry suggested that a large percentage of Ukrainians were susceptible to developing PTSD. Despite the legalization of cannabis for personal use in small amounts, it remains unavailable for medical research, despite evidence supporting its potential therapeutic effects.
