Medical rehabilitation opportunities are expanding for northerners

The rehabilitation departments of the Arkhangelsk Regional Hospital and the Severodvinsk First City Hospital received equipment for rehabilitation after injuries worth more than one hundred and eleven million rubles. Everything was purchased for this money: from massage tables to exercise machines with automatic control. In Arkhangelsk, the therapeutic exercise rooms were replenished with thirty-eight units of medical equipment: a treadmill with biological feedback, a stabiloplatform, a transcranial magnetic stimulator, etc. Fourteen units of medical equipment were sent to the city of shipbuilders, including an electromagnetic stimulator for patients with brain damage, the Arkhangelsk Region Ministry of Health reports.
